Robert Hiatt, 74, of Chippewa Falls, died October 16, 2002 at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation North. He was born May 18, 1928 in Georgetown, Illinois where he grew up, the son of Forest and Geneva (Baldwin) Forest.\r\nHe served in the U.S. Navy from1946 to 1949, and was stationed on the ship U.S.S. Power. After his honorable discharge he returned to Illinois where he worked for General Motors, and as a lather at Harry Henley and Sons. He moved to Eau Claire in the 60's, where he worked in construction\r\nBurial with military honors was today at Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Beaver Brook Township near Spooner, WI.\r\nLenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services handled arrangements.
