Robert "Mike" M. Karrow, 82, of Eau Claire, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2011, at his home. Mike was born on Lake City, MN, a son to Otto and Estelle (Judge) Karrow. Mike attended St. Patrick's High School in Eau Claire. After graduation, he worked for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier for 37 years, retiring in 1983. When the slow pitch softball league began in Eau Claire, Mike managed the slow pitch softball team from Don's Bar. He was a good person who will be missed by his friends. Mike is survived by two cousins, Alice Egebretson of Geneva, IL, and Harold Sheahan of Collinsville, IL. Funeral Services for Mike will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2011, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, with Deacon Larry Agema officiating. Friends are invited for visitation one half hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to donor's choice.
