Obituary

Robert E. Lee "Robt E", 59, of Eau Claire, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 3, 2008.\r\nHe was born on April 5, 1949, in Mondovi, WI, the son of Dr. John D. and Jean (Erickson) Lee. He graduated from Mondovi High School in 1967 and attended both UW Madison and UW Eau Claire.\r\nRobert married Debra K. Gunderson of Eau Claire on September 20, 1980, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Together they had two sons, U.S. Army Captain Adam Lee stationed at Fort Hood, TX, and Brian Lee of Eau Claire.\r\nHe was an Account Manager for Owens&Minor (formerly Medix) for the past 18 years. \r\nRobert was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Eau Claire Lodge #112 F&AM, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason Valley of Eau Claire, and Zor Shrine of Madison, American Legion Post #53, and Harleys Owners Group Eau Claire Chapter. \r\nRobert was proud to have been selected to ride in the Harley 100th Anniversary Parade in Milwaukee, WI, in 2003. He enjoyed hunting at the cabin in Brule, and fishing at the cabin on the Chippewa Flowage. Bob and Deb enjoyed many vacations together in Mexico and spending time with family and many great friends.\r\nRobert is survived by his wife, Debra; sons, Adam and Brian; sister, Barbara (Richard) Otis of Madison, WI; brother, Chuck Lee of Redondo Beach, CA; mother-in-law, Verna Gunderson of Eau Claire; brothers-in-law, Daniel (Nancy) Gunderson of Hayward, WI, and David Gunderson of Eau Claire; sister-in-law, Dawn (Tim) Buckley of Eau Claire; and by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. \r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Bradford Gunderson; sister-in-law, Ginny Gunderson; and close friends, Peter I. Johnson and James Campbell.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2008, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Eau Claire with Pastor Thomas W. Bryan officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and one hour prior to services Monday at church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral&Cremation Services is serving his family.\r\nMemorials are preferred.
