Robert J.E. Morin, 97, formerly of Eau Claire, died peacefully in his sleep on June 13, 2002, at his home in Laguna Hills, CA.\r\nAs he grew up, Robert lived with his grandparents and later with his mother, Ida Josephine Olson.\r\nRobert was a graduate of the University of Chicago, and he later earned his law degree. He was an IRS agent for many years. \r\nHe loved to dance, and it was at a dance class where he met his partner, of almost twenty-four years, Rene'e Kaye. He had a million-dollar smile and a great sense of humor.\r\nSurvivors include several nieces and nephews; and his companion Rene'e Kaye of Laguna Hills, CA\r\nGraveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2002 at Lutheran Church Cemetery, Eau Claire with Pastor Natalie Leske officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting the family.
