ROBERT E. RUST , 86, of 529 Union St., Eau Claire, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2000 in Eau Claire. He was born February 24, 1914 to Bert and Hannah (Peterson) Rust in Eau Claire and remained a lifelong resident of Eau Claire. \r\nHe married Elaine Delmore on August 27, 1938 in Altoona. He retired from Spence-McCord General Medical of LaCrosse in 1984, having worked in pharmaceutical sales his entire career. In retirement he became a member of the Golden K, Kiwanis Club of Eau Claire.\r\nHe is survived by his children, Joan (Jim) Stillman, Green Bay, Nancy (Jim) Schrantz, Coon Rapids, MN, Ruth Johnson, Prairie Farm, John (Linda) Rust, Libertyville, IL, Tom Rust, Eau Claire, Judy (Mark) Lenmark, Rice Lake, Barb (Ken) Stolp, Eau Claire, Kathy (Larry) Prell, Neenah, Steve (Paula) Rust, Eau Claire, Don (Paula) Rust, Eau Claire; 28 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. \r\nBob was preceded in death by his wife Elaine, in 1986; daughter, Jeanette Rust Solberg in 1997; brothers, Owen and Don; and sister, Helen Childs.\r\nServices will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2000 at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Andrew Boe and Pastor Kent Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home.
