ROBERT W. "BOB" WASHBURN, 57, of 728 Marshall St., Eau Claire, died Monday, April 7, 1997 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born April 4, 1940 in Eau Claire to George and Ruth (Pagenkopf) Washburn. Bob grew up in the Town of Wheaton,Chippewa Co., and attended school in Chippewa Falls where he graduated in 1958. He married Audrey Greene on July 17, 1971 at St. Olaf's Catholic Church in Eau Claire. Bob was a dispatcher for Lightening Yellow Cab Co.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Audrey; two daughters, Karen (Ken Maki) Washburn, of Albuquerque,NM, and Jennifer Washburn of Eau Claire; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents.\r\nBob loved bowling, fishing, and working on his wood projects. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. \r\nA Mass of Resurrection will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at St. James The Greater Catholic Church with Father John A. Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Town of Washington. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. There will be a public prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
