Gregerson, age 81, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at\r\nhis residence. He was born in Eau\r\n Claire on December 3, 1929, the son of Carl and\r\nLillian (Sather) Gregerson.\r\n\r\nRoger graduated from the original Eau\r\n Claire Memorial High School (later named Central Junior\r\nHigh on Main Street)\r\nwith the class of 1948. He worked as a pin setter at Soleberg Bowling in Eau Claire, which is now\r\nat the site of Hillside Dental on Main\r\n Street. Many stories were told about sweating and\r\nstray bowling balls. Roger was also a salesman for Pepsi Cola and Gamble\r\nRobinson until Roger was offered a 45/55 deal with owner Gil Falstad for\r\nFalstad's Market, which was located at the corner of Main\r\nand Talmadge Streets. Falstad's Market was in business for 99 years until 1986. In 1986 he worked for Copps Food (Dukes)\r\nwhich is now Gordys County Market. He enjoyed cabinet making, designing stained\r\nglass windows and ornaments, gardening, the sport of fishing and traveling with\r\nhis wife Janet. Roger was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan.\r\n\r\nRoger is survived by his wife, Janet (Falstad) Gregerson, of Eau Claire; his\r\nson, Stephen (Debra) Gregerson, of Wilson; and three grandsons, Kyle, Sean and\r\nCorey. Roger was also blessed by 2 great-grandchildren, Cameryn and Lilly,\r\nchildren of Kyle along with nieces and nephews. \r\n\r\nRoger was preceded in death by his brother, Don; parents, Carl and Lillian\r\n(Sather); his son, Charles; and his sister, Mary (Dave) Axness.\r\n\r\nOur family would like to thank the hospice nurses that took such good care\r\nof Roger. \r\n\r\nVisitation will be Thursday, August 11th\r\nfrom 4 to 7 p.m. at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, WEST CHAPEL LOCATION, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire, also one\r\nhour prior to the service at church. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m.,\r\nFriday, August 12th, at Grace Lutheran Church, 202 W. Grand Ave.,\r\nEau Claire, with Pastor Rolf A. Nestingen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau\r\n Claire
