Obituary

Roger A. Losey, 65, of Eau Claire died March 22, 2006, at Luther Hospital.He was born in Hillsdale, Michigan on June 18, 1940, the son of Roger and Reba (Page) Losey. \r\nHe graduated from Hillsdale High School and attended Hillsdale College graduating in 1962. Roger was a member of the American Gem Society, and became a registered jeweler.\r\nRoger married Mary Jane Cheatham in 1962 in Dearborn, MI. Together they had two children Richard and Susan. Roger married Carol J. Hendrickson in Eau Claire on May 27, 1977.\r\nHe managed Lasker Jewelers in downtown Eau Claire from 1963 to 1977. He was a manufacturer's representative for many fine jewelry designers from 1978 to 1999 covering 14 states. In 1980, Roger and Carol established their own jewelry line called "Bodacious Creations" which they operated until 1992.\r\nHe is survived by his wife, Carol; a granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Page of Auburn, WA; two aunts, Arlene Losey and Maxine Darby; and several cousins.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; his children, Richard and Susan Losey; and his sister, Carolyn Potok. \r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2006, at First Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Dr. Mark X. Pirazzini officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Monday at the church. \r\nLenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
