Romaine A. Lund, 97, of Eau Claire died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Luther Hospital. He was born on January 7, 1909, the son of Ole and Anna (MacLaughlin) Lund. \r\nRomaine married Grace Fenner on November 15, 1936, in Stillwater, MN.\r\nHe worked 26 years as a tire mold maker at Uniroyal until his retirement, and also made "Little Giant" jigs" which were sold nationwide. \r\nHe is survived by his; two granddaughters, Lynn (Shawn) Cormier of East Brookfield, MA and Lori Cashman of Maple Grove, MN; son-in-law, Loren Lessard of Minnetonka, MN; two nieces, Virginia (Cecil) Wold and Diane Lund both of Eau Claire; nephew, Butch Lund of Chetek; five great grandchildren; and his girlfriend, Connie Erdman of Eau Claire.\r\nRomaine was preceded in death by his wife, Grace; his parents; daughter, Janet "Pug" Lessard; and two brothers, Jerry "Scoop" Lund and Clare "Jim" Lund.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ with Rev. Dr. Mark X. Pirazzini officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the town of Washington. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving his family. \r\n
