Ronald D. Wahl 61, of 16513 E. Park Ave., Chippewa Falls died Tuesday, June 11,1996 from a heart attack while fishing at Otter Lake near Stanley. He was born April 9,1935 to Douglas and Minnie (Nelson) Wahl in Eau Claire. He graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1953. Ronald married Joan Neibauer on September 5, 1953 in Eau Claire. He worked at Phoenix Steel until his medical retirement in 1977. He was a member of First Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include a special friend, Sandy Erdman of Chippewa Falls; a son, Michael (Pam) Wahl of Spooner; a daughter, Ronda (Roger) Schneider of Chippewa Falls; four grandchildren, Shannon Wahl of Eau Claire, Ashley Wahl of Spooner, Kenny and Douglas Schneider both of Chippewa Falls; two sisters, Gloria (Harold) Richter of St. Paul,MN, and Linda Larson of Altoona; several nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents.\r\nRonald's family will remember his great love for the outdoors and his enjoyment of hunting and fishing.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Robert E. Esse officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday and an one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home.
