MONSON, ROSE G., 75, 1304 Snelling St., died Thursday, March 8, 2001 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born on May 8, 1925 to Josie Zurek in Eau Claire.\r\nShe bartended in the Eau Claire area for many years. On July 12, 1947, Rose married Rudolph "Rudy" Monson in Stillwater, MN. Together, years later, they retired at Blueberry Lake. \r\nSurvivors include a daughter, Debbie Monson (Don Strandt)of Eau Claire; two sons, Marty and Rod (Laura), both of Eau Claire; four grandchildren, Andrea and Stephanie Bandoli, Brandon and Desaree Monson; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Trygve, Dillon, Savannah, and Damien; a sister, Lillian Ender of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband Rudy in 1997.\r\nShe will be sadly missed by her family and friends, including her dear friend, Arlene Vance.\r\nFuneral services will be 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2001 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with Pastor Howard Fehr officiating. Friends and relatives may call from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
