Rose M. Schulde, 80, died Wednesday, September 10, 1997 at her residence.She was born Sept. 27, 1916 to Ernst and Millie Schmidt near Osceola,Wisconsin. Rose married John J. Schulde on January 20, 1939.\r\nShe worked at National Presto Industries, and then she and John owned and operated the Pine Lodge from the 1950's to early 60's when they moved near Augusta to farm. John and Rose returned to Eau Claire following their retirement.\r\nSurvivors include a grandson, Michael F. Mayer of Milwaukee; a granddaughter, Kelly Mayer of Waukesha; son-in-law, Frederick Mayer of Milwaukee; several cousins; and special friends Mark and Mary Legge of Eau Claire.\r\nRose was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1984; her parents and a daughter, Rosemary Mayer.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home, with Pastor Gene E. Wickman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, town of Washington. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Sunday, and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
