Rose A. Veum, 81, recently of Fergus Falls,MN. and formerly of Route 2, Eau Claire, died Friday, December 29, 1995 at the home of her daughter in Edina,MN.\r\nRose was born December 26, 1914 in Trempeleau County near Eleva, to Gilbert and Mary (Danielson) Gilbertson. She was a graduate of Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1932. Rose married Lionel B. Veum in Eau Claire on April 27, 1946.\r\nShe had been an active member of Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church where she enjoyed participating in the church choir and with music groups within the church. \r\nRose is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Lionel; a daughter, Mary Ann (Thomas) Clark of Edina,MN.; two sons, David (Crystal) Veum of Fergus Falls,MN. and Donn (Christine) Veum of Oakdale,MN.; seven grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Fran Gilbertson of Jackson,MS and Pat Gilbertson of North Fort Lauderdale,FL.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Gilman, Tim and Ed. \r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 A.M. Tuesday at Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church with Pastor Morris Vold officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery.\r\nFriends may call 4 to 8 P.M. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
