RUTH M. BAKER, 80, formerly of 815 Chapin St., Eau Claire, died Wednesday, April 16, 1997 at the Clairemont Nursing Home in Eau Claire. She was born March 4, 1917 in Ashland, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lillian Perinier. Ruth grew up and received her education there in the Ashland schools. She lived many years in Grandview where she raised her children. Ruth moved to Eau Claire in 1960 where she was Dietary Supervisor at Sacred Heart Hospital until her retirement in 1972.\r\nSurvivors include a son, George (Diane) Bjork of Eau Claire; two daughters, Bonnie Jean (C.W.) Hilmer of Oklahoma and Judi Harding of Eau Claire; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three cousins, Bill Ellingson of Ashland, Sister Mary Marten of Tinley Park, IL, and Dorothy Ellingson of Paradise, CA.\r\nRuth was preceded in death by her parents; and two cousins, Tom and Pat Ellingson.\r\nFuneral Services were held Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home, Eau Claire with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Eau Claire.\r\n
