RUTH S. MOORE, 83, of 2737 Kay Street, died Saturday, August 5, 2000 at The Clairemont. She was born on May 31, 1917 in Fargo, ND, to Walter and Kathryn (Seebold) Milbrath. Ruth grew up in River Falls where she graduated U-W River Falls, and later earned her master's degree in entomology from U-W Eau Claire in 1968. \r\n She married Donald L. Moore in River Falls on July 13, 1941. \r\nShe taught in Gilman, Owen, Whitehall and Plymouth, WI prior to moving to Eau Claire in 1956. She taught secondary education for 19 years in Altoona until her retirement in 1979. \r\nShe was a member of Christ Church Cathedral.\r\nRuth loved gardening, especially her roses, and had a special place in her heart for her family, animals and the beauty of nature.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Donald; a daughter, Kathryn (Ron) Viste of Eau Claire; her sister, Patricia ( Dr. E. Arthur) Livingston of New York City, NY; a niece and two nephews; two grand-nieces and one grand-nephew.\r\nRuth was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, John Milbrath.\r\nMemorial services will at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Christ Church Cathedral with the Very Rev. H. Scott Kirby officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.\r\n
