Ruth M. Wraalstad, 88, formerly of 938 Water St., died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1995 at Sacred Heart Hospital.\r\nRuth was born May 5, 1907 in the Town of Hale, Trempealeau County, to Marius and Pauline (Holstad) Gunderson. She married Irving A. Wraalstad November 2, 1928 in Winona, Minnesota. In 1963 she moved to Eau Claire, where she worked at the former Mt. Washington Nursing Home, until her retirement in 1973.\r\nRuth is survived by a son, Duane (Patricia), of Coon Rapids, MN; three daughters, Maxine (Joseph) Sandor of Pittsburgh, PA., Ann (Roger) Wittkopf of Eau Claire and Bonita (Richard) Thompson of Ojai, CA; three sisters: Mayme Schulenburg of Middleton, Hazel Babcock of Delavan, and Borghild Gunderson of Eau Claire; three brothers, Morton and Reuben (Mabel) of Strum, Rudolph of Eau Claire; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 A.M.Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Obert I. Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.\r\nFriends may call 2 to 6 P.M.Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
