Sadie J. Repaal, 96, formerly of Eau Claire died Monday, August 16, 2004 at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation, town of Eagle Point. She was born on June 24, 1908 in town of Dover, Buffalo County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Sam and Julia (Julson) Swanson.\r\nSadie married Elmer Borgwardt on September 20, 1928, he died in 1958. She married Magne Repaal April 5, 1975 in Duluth, MN, they were later divorced. \r\nShe was employed at numerous places throughout her life. At one time, Sadie owned her own café and then spent several years working at Shedd Brown and Sacred Heart Hospital.\r\nSurvivors include her son, Duane (Yvonne) Borgwardt of Bruce; grandson, Jeffrey Borgwardt of Eau Claire; two granddaughters, Nancy (Mike) Curry of Bruce and Jody (Mark) Miller of Fall Creek; six great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces.\r\nShe was also preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; infant granddaughter, Pamela Borgwardt; two brothers, Helmer and Arnold Swanson; two sisters, Cora Hophf and Gladys Rison; and several nieces and nephews. \r\nFuneral services will be at 11a.m. Friday, August 20, 2004 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.\r\n
