Sandra J. Cain, 69, of Eau Claire died peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 8, 2008. She was born in Brown County near Green Bay, Wisconsin, on December 30, 1938, daughter of Romeo and Ella Kuepfer.She grew up in Chippewa Falls, graduating from Chi-Hi in 1957.\r\nSandy married James P. Cain at Evangel United Brethren Church in Chippewa Falls on April 25, 1959.\r\nShe worked over 30 years at Sacred Heart Hospital. She began as an aide in the O.B. Department, was a supervisor in CSR, and retired in 2000.\r\nShe will be remembered for her many crafts and love for collecting Beanie Bears. Jim and Sandy always loved their gambling trips on Sundays. Since retirement they spent their winters in Texas.\r\nSandy is survived by her husband Jim; two daughters, Mary Jo (Charles) Meinholz and Julie Winberg both of Eau Claire; two sons, Mike (Laurie) Cain of Chippewa Falls and James A. Cain of Stevens Point; twelve grandchildren, Jordan Cain and Tyler Berg; Joshua and Jessica Meinholz, Anne, Stephanie, Ashley and Stacy Cain, Kristie, Megan and Zachary Winberg, and Taylor Cain,; two great grandchildren, Raven Meinholz and Zion Bakalars; her sister, Jackie Gibbs of Chippewa Falls; many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jeananne Louise Berg in 2007; and her brother-in-law, Howard Gibbs\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.\r\n \r\n
