SANDRA M. "SANDY" PAULSON, 49, of 1721 Ohm Ave., died Monday, April 14, 1997 at Luther Hospital. She was born August 14, 1997 in Highland Park, IL, to James and Helen (Hubert) Busscher. Sandy grew up in Evanston,IL, graduating from Marywood High School in 1965. She attended UWEC where she met her husband, Gary H. Paulson They were married on August 24, 1968 in Evanston. They lived for a time in Kansas and Chicago, and returned to Eau Claire in 1972. Sandy was activity assistant at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home and previously at Grace Edgewood Apts. She was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church where she was a teacher in the nursery school.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Gary; three sons, Mark (Anne) , Eric and Ryan all of Eau Claire; a sister, Susan (Larry) Daley of Port Huron,MI; a half brother, James C. Busscher of Evanston,IL; two half sisters, Sallie (Robert) Knecht of CA, and Sheila (Robert) Bardwell of CO; many nieces and nephews and a cousin, Stephanie (Robert) Franke of Chassell,MI;\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and father-in-law, Herbert Paulson.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Evangel Assembly of God Church with Pastor Steven L. Brandt officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
