Selma B. Gullickson, 91, formerly of 1707 Emery St., died Friday evening, March 15, 1996 at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home, Altoona. She was born December 11, 1904 in the Town of Norden, Buffalo County to Andrew and Hannah (Kvernen) Thoen. Selma married Otto Gullickson in Winona, Minnesota on August 9, 1926. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and a former member of Son's of Norway-Loven Lodge #29.Selma is survived by a son, Wayne of Eau Claire, four daughters, Beatrice (Harvey) Heuer and Arlene Hovde both of Eau Claire, Shirley (Robert) Pichler of Mondovi and Carol (Donald) Marquardt of Stanley; a daughter-in-law, Victoria Gullickson of Rochester, MN; twenty three grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur (Minnie) Thoen and Kenneth (Inga) Thoen both of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband Otto in 1970; her parents; a son, Richard; two grandsons, Jimmy Heuer and Michael Hovde; a brother, Henry Thoen; five sisters, Hazel Thoen, Helen Johnson, Ida Kruger, Olga Peterson and Alice TiferSelma will be remembered as a devoted, loving mother, grandmother and friend and dearly loved by those who knew her.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 2 P.M. Monday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Donald C. Lindner officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Garden's Cemetery, Town of Washington. Friends may call 4 to 8 P.M. (Today) Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
