SHARON D. ALLEN, of St. Paul, Minnesota, formerly of Eau Claire, died Saturday, December 2, 2000 at her residence. She was born on February 2, 1947 in Centralia, Washington to John and Marion (Nauman) Allen. Sharon moved to Eau Claire with her family in 1952, and graduated from Memorial High School in 1965. \r\nShe worked several years at the Minneapolis Art Institute. In 1971 she moved to Sacramento, CA, where she attended American River Community College. Sharon later transferred to UW-Stout where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education. She was a pre-school teacher at Hallie Q. Brown Pre-School, in the Martin Luther King Center in St. Paul, MN, until retiring due to her health in February 1998.\r\nSurvivors include her parents, John and Marion Allen of Eau Claire; brother, Michael of Mpls., MN; sister, Cynthia (Eugene) Bowe of Eau Claire; two nieces, Amanda and Alison Bowe of Eau Claire; aunts, uncles, and cousins.\r\nMemorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2001 at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, Elk Mound with Pastor Dean C. Brockmeier officiating. Friends and relatives may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire.Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is handling arrangements. \r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to Shepherd of the Hill Church.\r\n
