Sharon Seufzer, age 68 of Eau Claire, died on April 5, 2012, at her home under the care of Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice. Sharon was born to Oliver and Myrtle (Brandsness) Sneen on May 2, 1943, in Stanley, WI. Sharon attended and graduated from Stanley High School. She married Kenneth Seufzer September 28, 1963. After marriage they moved to Eau Claire where they raised their family. Sharon worked retail at Branstad Family Drug and Factory Card Outlet where she enjoyed working and meeting new people. Sharon enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She took pleasure in being a mom, riding bike, bowling, playing cards and taking long walks. Sharon was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She experienced both great love and loss in her life. She had a great spirit, a strong will and always had a smile on her face. Immediate family gatherings would focus around Sharon and that will truly be missed by everyone. Sharon is survived by her husband, Kenneth; two sons, Jeff of Maryland Heights, MO and Brad (Sara) of Cordova, TN; daughter, Amy (Douglas) Gustafson of New Richmond, WI; one brother, Jim (Louise) Sneen of Elk Mound, WI; two sisters, Carole (Glenn) Aumann of Houston, TX and Marilyn (Philip) Storrs of Beaver Dam, WI; three sisters-in-law, Donna (Bob) Smasal of Chippewa Falls, WI, Nancy (Ron) Bemmann of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Kathy (Duane) Miller of Dallas, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Oliver Sneen; two brothers, Dick and John "Jack" Sneen; sister, Dorothy Tollefson; sisters-in-law Carole Sneen and Roseanne Sneen; and brother-in-law, Robert Smasal. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2226 Eddy Lane, Eau Claire, with Pastor Randy Olson officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner WI. Sharon will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to everyone who has helped during these difficult times.
