Sharon Heyden-Warner, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. She passed away peacefully with all of her children by her side, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. Up to the time of her passing, Sharon was under the loving care of the staff at Fall Creek Valley Care Center. Sharon was known for her strong faith, strength, and fortitude. Sharon was born on October 12, 1937, at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Reuben and Mary Pfeiffer-Heyden. In 1959, she graduated from the Milwaukee County Hospital School of Nursing. She also served as a First Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corp. Immediately following, she continued her nursing career in the Milwaukee area. Sharon was married to Douglas Warner on December 31, 1959. She was a loving and devoted mother to her four children; Jacqueline (Terry) Polus of Eau Claire, Timothy (Pamela) Warner of Ontario, CA, John (Sherri) Warner of Dover, OH, and Jennifer (Jeff) Atchison of Sumner, WA. She had five grandchildren, Stephanie Polus, Michael Polus, Mary (Matthew) Polus-Berg, John Polus, and Adrienne Polus. She is also survived by her brother, Jim (Connie) Heyden, of Brookfield, WI. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home WEST CHAPEL, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire. Community Life Pastor Michelle Olson of Valleybrook Church will preside over the funeral service. A visitation will also be held from 2:00-3:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Private Inurnment will be held at a later date.
