Sharron K. Zell, age 73, of Eau Claire, died on June 30, 2012, with her family by her side at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. She was born in Eau Claire on January 28, 1939, to Richard and Lorraine (Holm) Everson. Sharron was the Cook "Lunch Lady" at Sam Davey and many other EC public schools. She loved camping with her family, fishing, going for rides, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She collected many things including her cookbooks, but most important, her pig collection. She also liked playing the card game, Spite and Malice, with her husband, sister and brother-in-law. Sharron is survived by her husband, Elwin; daughter, Sharrie (Wayne) Steinke; son, Rick (Lori) Zell; grandchildren, Kelli Denning, Gary (Shannon) Zell, and Tim (Krysta) Zell; great- grandchildren, Mason and Brinn Denning, and Katie Zell; sister, Lynn (Patrick) Goss; brother, Richard Everson; and step-father, Laverne Rathke along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Everson in 1956, and mother, Lorraine (Holm) Rathke in 2006. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
