Shirley B. Field, 86, of Eau Claire, died on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. She was born January 14, 1926 to August and Sigrid (Brandrup) Hansen in Eau Claire. Shirley married Robert E. Field on August 1, 1954 in Eau Claire. Survivors include her husband Robert; two sons, Andrew (Rita) Field and Matthew (Yvette) Field, both of Eau Claire; daughter, Jane Ellen (Chris) Lindblad of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren, Todd, David, Matthew, and William Lindblad, Alissa (Jesse) Schuster, Elesia (Dan) Kleiman, and Jacob Ricke; great-grandchildren, Aeris and Alora Ricke; sister, Ebba M. Heinan, of Eau Claire; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Mildred Johnson, Ione Bruss, and Erna Peterson. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., with Pastor David J. Irgens officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Spooner at a later date.
