Shirley J. Hasenmueller, 62, of 2122 Black Avenue, died February 26, 2003 at Luther Hospital. She was born February 5, 1941 in Eau Claire the daughter of Otto and Erma (Lee) Berg. She graduated from Memorial High School with the class of 1959.\r\nShirley married Charles Hasenmueller on December 7, 1966 in Eau Claire. Charles died in 2000.\r\nShirley had worked at MacDonald's for nine years and now worked in the Deli department at Mega Pick 'N Save East.\r\nShe was a member of First Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include three sons, Eric (Sandy) Berg of Woodridge, IL, Peter (Tracy Wright) of Eau Claire and Steven (Christiana) Hasenmueller of Sioux Falls, SD; three grandchildren, John and Eric Berg and Lauren Wright-Hasenmueller; and two brothers, Omer Berg of Eau Claire and Erv Berg of Menomonie.\r\nShe was also preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Theodore Nyseth; and two sisters, Dorothy Meinen and Joyce Newberry.\r\nFuneral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2003 at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.\r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to First Lutheran Church.
