Shirley M. Millwood, 77, of Eau Claire passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Dove South nursing home. Shirley was born on December 7, 1937 to Joseph and Marie (Pitts) Johnson in Eau Claire. She was raised in Eau Claire and graduated from Regis High School in 1955. Shirley attended the Chippewa Valley Technical College and worked for the Eau Claire Telephone Company. She married, had children and was self-employed as the owner/manager of Millwood Rentals for the last 42 years. She was a woman with a great sense of humor, an avid reader and loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Shirley married Harry Millwood, Jr. on December 26, 1959. Her husband Harry, four children and seven grandchildren, Amber (Millwood) and Mark Ackerman, Harry and Chloe Ackerman (Eau Claire, WI), Jeffery Millwood, Jesse, Jordan and Sean Millwood (Grand Blanc, MI), Dr. Renee Millwood (Eau Claire, WI), Connie (Millwood) and Steve Kopecky, Sam and Sydney Kopecky (Sussex, WI), survive her. Additionally she is survived her sisters Florence Weichert, Joyce Smith, Marcy Hanson, Joanne Sorenson (Paul), Judy Burns, and Linda DesForge (Steve), her brother Odin Johnson and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marie; brother, Richard Johnson; sister Yvonne Bradford; and son-in-law John Hinz (Renee). Visitation will be Thursday June 25, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lenmark-Gomsrud- Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. Eau Claire, WI 54703. A private, family memorial service will be held at St. Patrick's
