SIMONE P. STACEY, 85, of 851 University Dr., died Friday, December 4, 1998 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born March 2, 1913 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Albert and Germaine (Talbot) Perrot. She grew up in Norwalk,Connecticut where she graduated from Norwalk High School with the class of 1931.\r\nSimone married Lt. Col. Fred John Stacey (U.S.A.F.) on March 2, 1940 in Elkton, Maryland. While Fred served in the Air Force, they resided in twelve states and three countries.\r\nShe loved to play bridge throughout her life; and, in more recent years, looked forward to bridge matches with her friends at St. Francis Apts.\r\nSurvivors include two daughters, Janine (Don) Zeutschel of Eau Claire and Michele (Russ) Doyle of Lebanon, IL; a granddaughter, Stacey Zeutschel of Eau Claire; and a grandson, Tom Doyle of Bloomington, IL.\r\nSimone was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 1982, and a sister, Marcelle Venner.\r\nMemorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Hospital Chapel with Chaplain Toby Ellison officiating. Friends may call 10 a.m. Monday until time of services at the Chapel. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home is serving the family.\r\nFamily suggests memorial be directed to Eau Claire Humane Society, in lieu of flowers.
