Born, Sandra Lee Cain, February 28, 1945, in Santa Ana California, Sondi grew up in the San Jacinto-Hemet Valley and graduated High School in 1963. In addition to being a resident of Menomonie and Eau Claire Wisconsin, Sondi previously lived in Louisiana, New York ,Ohio, North Carolina and spent 25 years in the Rochester Minnesota area. In addition to being a very loving Mom and Wife, Sondi worked as a teaching assistant, in cosmetics at Harris' Department Store, and as a Florist making beautiful bouquets. Sondi enjoyed studying Computers and Real Estate and retired as a Community Administrator for High Pointe, A Volunteers of America Senior Living Facility, in Rochester Minnesota. Sondi was the oldest of seven children. Her siblings remember her bravery, always caring for them, and her beautiful singing voice. She was also known for her wit, her beautiful lips, love for lipstick, and her superb cooking skills (especially the family Louisiana- Cajun potato salad and gumbo recipe). Her interests included; gardening, cooking, dancing, canning, puzzles, and playing cards and games with her children and grandchildren. She had dear friends all over the world that she made through Facebook. Their music and friendship spoke to her and filled her heart with love, comfort and companionship. Sondi loved the Lord more than anything and graciously shared that love with anyone that wanted to listen. She was a prayer warrior and offered her prayers willingly and consistently to those in need. She cared deeply for others and often welcomed them into her home as guests whether they were 1 year old or 100. Her passion was for her family and for helping people and ministering to them.
