On Saturday, June 29, 2024, Steve Goodspeed, husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and military veteran passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side. Steve is a loving, kind-hearted, joyful person who is a car enthusiast, loves boating, traveling, and being with family. He sure knows how to win at Cribbage and most card games. His motto in life is, "If it is to be, it is up to me." He is a great listener and loves to share his life experiences with his family and friends. Steve will be forever remembered by his children, Hannah Goodspeed and Ashley (David) Heitmann; granddaughters, Adalyn Heitmann and Evelin Heitmann; sisters, Carol (Jim) Dittman and Nancy Geving. Steve will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, July 12, 2024 with Pastor Kurt Mattison officiating at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral & Cremation Services, 814 1st Avenue, Eau Claire with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 53 and VFW Post 7232 following the service.
