Steven M. Demos, 48, of La Crosse, WI died unexpectedly in his sleep on Saturday, April 21, 2006, at home. He was born in Eau Claire, WI on December 1, 1957, the son of Peter and Lorraine "Lorrie" (Semingson) Demos. \r\nHe graduated from Eau Claire North High School in 1975. Steven served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 until his honorable discharge in 1979. He was also a graduate of San Diego State University in Pharmacy Technology. \r\nSteven married Jody Veerkamp in Cannon Falls, MN on May 21, 1988, and has resided in La Crosse since.\r\nSteven is survived by his wife, Jody; his father, Peter of Hugo, MN; his mother, Lorrie (Wes) Anderson of Brainerd, MN; two sisters, Vicki Stevens of St. Paul, MN and Lisa (Norberto) Moran of Edina, MN; and a brother, Carl (Sarah) Anderson of Buffalo, MN.\r\nSteven was preceded in death by grandparents, Steve Demos&Joan Williams and Magnus&Mary Semingson. \r\nMemorial services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Rev. Carl W. Anderson officiating. Family and friends may call one half hour prior to the service at the funeral home.\r\nIn lieu of flowers his family requests memorials be directed to his wife, Jody.\r\n
