Steven D. Ender, 45, of Medford, Oregon and formerly of Eau Claire, died Monday, June 30, 2003 at his home in Medford, Oregon. He was born October 19, 1957 in Eau Claire, son of Eugene and Lois (Schatz) Ender. Steve was a resident of Medford, OR since 1979 where he was a technician in the irrigation industry. He had a big heart always ready to help others and had a great sense of humor, playing practical jokes on his family and friends. He enjoyed yard work, woodworking and caring for the stray cats in his neighborhood.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Charlotte Stallsworth of Medford, OR; his mother, Lois of Eau Claire; two brothers, Brian (Marta) and Richard (Heidi), both of Eau Claire; two sisters, Debbie (Joel) White of Medford, OR and Donna (Dan) Haakenson of Elk Mound; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nSteve was preceded in death by his father, Eugene; and a sister, Diane Field.\r\nMemorial services will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Arne E. Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery.
