Steven Charles Parks, 30, of Broken Arrow, OK, formerly of Eau Claire, died unexpectedly on September 5, 2010.\r\nSteven adored his fiancé April, cherished his grandpa, and treasured his mom and brothers, Dan and Mike. He loved being their big brother. He was devoted to his Dad, and looked up to his stepfather. He was an honorable and loyal friend to many.\r\nHe was born in Eau Claire on January 24, 1980, a son of Stephen Parks and Janet (Steve) Reppert.\r\nHe attended North High School and received his diploma in 1998.\r\nSteven worked for Russell Electric Company in Broken Arrow, OK\r\nSteven is survived by his fiancé, April Lonetree; mother, Janet (Steve) Reppert of Broken Arrow, OK; father, Stephen Parks of Eau Claire; two brothers, Daniel Parks of Eau Claire, and Michael (Jenny) Parks of Broken Arrow, OK; grandfather, Garfield Brown of Eau Claire; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his sister, Valerie Rose; step-mother, Sharon; Aunt Judy, Uncle Gary and his beloved grandmother, Rosemary Brown.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Avenue, Eau Claire, with Pastor Rolf A. Nestingen officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
