STEVEN M. SCHNEIDER, 31, 516 Galloway St., died Wednesday, July 30, 1997 at Luther Hospital. He was born September 15, 1965 in St. Charles, Missouri to Danny and Carol Schneider. Steven grew up in St. Charles graduating from St. Charles High School in 1984. Following high school, Steven served in the Pennsylvania National Guard until joining the U.S. Army in 1986. He was honorably discharge in 1989. He moved to Eau Claire in 1995 where he worked at several area restaurants, most recently as manager at Perkins Restaurant.\r\nSurvivors include his father, Danny (Phyllis) Schneider of St. Charles,MO; his mother, Carol (Bill) Edwards of Shelbyville,IN; three brothers, David, Paul and Bobby, and two sisters, Tricia and Kelly Schneider all of St. Charles,MO; three step-sisters, Lee Ann Balleydier of Washington,MO, Beverly Edwards of Atlanta,GA, and Misty Vargo of St. Petersburg,FL; grandparents, Marge and Les Schneider of St. Charles and Blanche Perfetto of Fenton,MO; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Perfetto.\r\nMemorial services will be held in St. Charles. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home served the family with local arrangements.\r\nFamily suggests memorials be directed to Northwest Wisconsin AIDS Project,505 S. Dewey St., P.O.
