Susan Marie Henderson, 94, of Eau Claire and formerly of Lakeside Nursing&Rehabilitation Center in Chippewa Falls, died Friday, December 09, 2005, at Dove HealthCare in Eau Claire.\r\nShe was born September 8, 1911, in the town of Edson in rural Chippewa County to Martin and Mary (Seidling) Zais.\r\nSusan married Acy Ray Henderson on June 17, 1930 in Chippewa Falls. He died April 5, 1989. She was a member of Lake Street United Methodist Church.\r\nAmong her favorite hobbies were rug making as well as knitting and needlework.\r\nSusan is survived by one sister, Celia (Morris) Johnson of Superior, WI; daughter-in-law, H. Pat Henderson of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey C. (Kathy), Douglas M. (Theresa), Dennis R. (Charlene), and Ray Jacob "R.J." (Lisa) Henderson, Mary Ellen Frost, Carrie Lee Calcagno, and Suzanne Henderson; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her two sons, Raymond W. Henderson of Eau Claire, and Dennis G. Henderson of Aurora, CO; two grandsons, Gregory L. and David L. Henderson; and twelve brothers and sisters.\r\nGraveside services will be held in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Lake Street United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1205, Eau Claire, WI 54702-1205. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.\r\n
