Suzanne K. Lear, 67, of Eau Claire, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012, at her home under the care of Mayo Clinic Healthcare Hospice. Suzanne was born on September 17, 1944, in Antigo, WI to Howard and Adeline (Simon) Boyle. She married Morris "Buck" Lear on September 26, 1964, in Antigo, WI. Suzanne worked for Xcel Energy for 34 years, retiring in May 2002. Suzanne is survived by her husband, Buck of Eau Claire; brothers, Larry (Judy) Boyle of Deerbrook, WI, and Allen (Susan) Boyle of Huntley, IL; sister, Carla (Robert) Gregurich of Manitowoc, WI; ten nieces and nephews; and ten great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services for Suzanne will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Grace Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, with Pastor David J. Irgens officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at church. Burial will be at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran's Media Ministry or to the Grace Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
