SYLVIA A. BIESECKER, 97, formerly of 2809 Preston Rd., died Friday, October 13, 1995 at the Center of Care.\r\nSylvia was born February 21, 1898 to William and Edith (Freeman) Garnett in the Town of Union. She graduated from the Normal Training School of Eau Claire in June 1916 and taught in Eau Claire area rural schools. On June 15, 1920, Sylvia married Cecil E. Biesecker in Eau Claire. She worked at Uniroyal for over twenty years, retiring in 1963.\r\nShe was a member of Plymouth United Church of Christ, and Plymouth's Sunshine Circle.\r\nSurvivors include her daughter; Lucile Smith of Eau Claire; her son, Donald (Elvera) Biesecker of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gladys (Adolph) Lessard of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, in 1969; four brothers, Basil, Lyle, Myron, and Neil; two sisters, Tressie Lee and Fanny Cartwright; a son-in-law Eugene E. Smith.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Plymouth United Church of Christ with Rev. Fritz West officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Washington.\r\nFriends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church \r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to Plymouth United Church of Christ.
