Thelma Lorraine Wold, 89, left this earth on October 25, 2015, at Heritage Court Assisted Living in Eau Claire. Thelma was born in Eau Claire on February 8, 1926, a daughter of Leo and Gena (Ford) Larson. She graduated from St. Olaf College in 1944, with degrees in Psychology and Chemistry. Thelma married Melvin "Mannie" Wold in the summer of 1953, in Iowa. Together, they both worked at the family business, Larson Lumber and Hardware, in Eau Claire. Thelma and Mannie shared a life of togetherness with their travels to Norway, Mexico, Alaska and the Caribbean. Thelma is survived by her husband, Mannie; son, Richard Melvin (Mary Ann) Wold; daughter, Kristine Ann Drews and her husband, Jim-wah Wong; sister, Jean Marie Larson; and also by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015, at First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Avenue in Eau Claire with Pastor Amy Odgren and Pastor Lowell Halvorson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
