Theodore "Ted" Allen, age 28, of Eau Claire, died unexpectedly at his home in Eau Claire, WI. Ted was born April 18, 1987, in Menomonie, to Dr. James and Colleen (Larson) Allen. He attended North High School and was a graduate of McKinley High School. Ted loved music, playing guitar and going to Rock Fest each year. He enjoyed golfing, snow skiing, karate and especially spending time with friends. He was an avid video game player, but a good game of Monopoly was his favorite. Ted is survived by his mother, Colleen Allen of Eau Claire; grandmother, Maxine Larson of Eau Claire; four aunts and uncles, Connie (Greg) Lang of Brooklyn Park, MN, Carol (Larry) Hoffstatter of Eau Claire, Dr. Ralph (Karen) Allen of Charlottesville, VA and John (Melinda) Allen of Delevan, WI; and also by several cousins, other relatives and friends. Ted was preceded in death by his father, Dr. James Allen; grandparents, Marvin Larson and Dr. Ralph and Edith Allen; and his feline friend, "Zelda." A private family service was held.
