Liddell, age 82, of Altoona, died peacefully in his sleep at home\r\non August 29, 2011.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nTed was born to Albert and Evelyn (Kenyon) Liddell, on June\r\n25, 1929 in the town of Anson,\r\nWI. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, dancing, going for rides to see\r\nwildlife and spending time with family and friends. Ted was a longtime employee\r\nof Armours Packing Company. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nTed is survived by his children, Linda (Steve) Bluem, Ken\r\n(Lisa) Liddell, Jeanne (Dan) Germain, Tom (Brenda) Liddell and Pat (Jeff) Taylor;\r\ngrandchildren, Stephanie (Ahmad) Thabetah, Nichole (Jim) Laven, April (Shane)\r\nSarbeck, Kelly Hays, Lance (Gretchen) Liddell, Travis Liddell, Molly (Dan)\r\nGiese, May (Brandon) Austin, Kristy (Alex) Jackson and Brendt (Carrie) Bowen;\r\n12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dayton Liddell, Jerry (Janet) Liddell and\r\nAlberta Bellmore; and special friend and companion, Vivian Thompson and her\r\nfamily along with special pet, Angel.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPreceded in death by his parents; wife of 44 years, Lucille;\r\ngrandson, Timothy Hays; son-in-law, Robert Hays; brothers, Chalis, Maurice and\r\nLarry (Lorraine);\r\nand brother-in-law, Ted Bellmore. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFuneral Service will be at 11a.m. on Thursday,\r\nSeptember 1, 2011, at Christ Church Cathedral, 510 S Farwell St., Eau Claire\r\nwith the Very Rev. Bruce N. Gardner officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday,\r\nAugust 31, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau\r\n Claire. Visitation will also be one hour prior to\r\nthe service at church on Thursday. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
