Theresa Doughty (Tatur) died peacefully on Tuesday December 19, 2023 in Chippewa Falls, WI at the age of 90. Terry is survived by her children Doug (Kathy) Doughty; Danette (Dennis) Smith; David (Kim) Doughty; Donovan Doughty; Grandchildren, Laura, Emily, Colin, Maggie, Kathryn, Ben, Justin, Josh, Kaitlin, Hanna, Rebecca; Great-Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Caleb, Lydia, Nolan, Iris, Jacob, Logan Madison, Louie, Annabelle. She is proceeded in death by Mother and Father Elizabeth and Walter; Sisters, Celia Tatur, Mary Perkovich; Brothers, Stanley, John, Ed, Leo Tatur. Terry was born on October 15, 1933 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to Elizabeth and Walter. She attended Tony Schools and after graduation, attended nursing school in Michigan. Terry Married Dan Doughty on April 27, 1957. They had 4 Children and lived on various Air Force bases throughout the country and Japan. After Dan was shot down and taken prisoner of war in 1966, Terry moved her children from Japan to Ladysmith, WI, where they lived for the next seven years. Upon Dan's return in 1973, the family moved to Texas for 3 years, and then to Eau Claire in 1976 where Terry and Dan enjoyed retirement from the Air Force. A Funeral is scheduled at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at St Olafs Catholic Church in Eau Claire, WI. Father James Kurzynski will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Terry's life. Internment will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday January 4, 2024 at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
