Thomas J. Graham Sr. 93, of Eau Claire, passed away May 22, 2007, at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Altoona. He was born April 24, 1914, in Wright County, MN, the son of William and Elizabeth (Westrupp) Graham.\r\nHe grew up on the family farm in Waverly, MN and attended St. Mary's High School, the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, and received a law degree in 1940 from the St. Paul College of Law. He was appointed a Special Agent of the FBI and entered duty on January 13, 1941.\r\nUpon completion of training, Tom was assigned to the Richmond, Norfolk and Washington, D.C. offices. In January 1943, he was assigned to the German Espionage Section of the Domestic Intelligence Division. In November, 1944 he was assigned to the Milwaukee office, and in March 1946 he was named Resident Agent at Eau Claire, WI, where he remained until retiring on June 30, 1972.\r\nTom was an instructor in criminal investigation and criminal law while in the Bureau, and continued this work for several years at the Chippewa Valley Technical College. Following that, he did investigations in civil cases for law firms in the area.\r\nHe married Virginia Madigan in 1940, and she preceded him in death in 1974. In 1977 he married Jacquelyn Gardner, who survives.\r\nTom was involved in volunteer work in Eau Claire, including Meals-on-Wheels, the St. Francis Food Bank, was a member Immaculate Conception Parish and a member of John F. Kennedy Council #1257, Knights of Columbus. His favorite pastimes were golfing, gardening and spending the winter months in Green Valley, AZ.\r\nIn addition to his wife, Jacquelyn, he is survived by two daughters, Mary "Tuppy" Reilly of West Hartford, CT, and Patricia (Fred) Seggelink of Medford, OR; son, Thomas, Jr. (Penny) of Eau Claire; daughter-in-law, Linda St. Louis of Farmington, Hills, MI; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Quinn of Omaha, NE; brother, Daniel Graham of Waverly, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\nTom was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Frederick; three brothers and two sisters.\r\nMass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Eugene Klink celebrating the Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Eau Claire.
