THOMAS A. HESTEKIN, 68, W14373 Plummer Rd., Weyerhaeuser, formerly of Eau Claire, died Friday, March 14, 1997 at his home on McCann Lake. He was born December 19, 1928 in Eau Claire to John and Olga (Dahl) Hestekin. Tom served in the Air Force until his honorable discharge in 1947. He married Barbara Bielefeldt on October 29, 1949. He was a 30 year member of the Eagles Club and a member of the U.C.T. Tom worked at Armour Meats until his retirement in 1984. \r\nSurvivors include his wife, Barbara, four sons, Michael (Joanne Werner) of Elk Mound, Patrick (Jill Rochon) of Manitowoc, Richard and Daniel (Kay Kruschke) both of Eau Claire; nine grandchildren, Micky, Jed, Beau, Gretchen, Kristen, Andrew, Nakia, Stacy and Sarah; a brother, John (Gerri) of O-Cala, FL; a special sister-in-law, Joyce; several nieces and nephews.\r\nTom was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim and a sister, Rose Sundlin.\r\nFuneral Services will be 7:30 P.M. Tuesday evening at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Chris W. Myers of Plymouth United Church of Christ officiating. Friends may call 4 P.M. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral Home.\r\nTom will be greatly missed by his family, grandchildren and "Mitzy"\r\n
