Thomas H. Jaeschke, 92 of Eau Claire, died on April 21, 2013. He was 92 years old, the youngest of 7 children born to Alfred and Clara (Bucholz) Jaeschke in Milwaukee WI, on February 16, 1921. Tom graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee and entered the Marquette University. His education was interrupted by WWII and he served proudly in the U.S. Navy. Tom and Berniece were married on March 2, 1946. Tom had a lifelong career as a food service equipment designer and consultant and he and Berniece owned their own business, Thomas H. Jaeschke and Associates. Tom was dedicated to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The family enjoyed yearly traveling and camping trips. He was an active church member, a master gardener and also enjoyed woodworking. His wife Berniece preceded him in 2007. Thomas is survived by his three daughters, Elaine (Robin) Kleffman, Carol Werner and Alice (Dale) Sand; his grandchildren include Elaine's children, Tom, Rachel, Matt and Mark; Carol's children, Sam and Kate; great-grandchildren, Nell, Clare, Phoebe and Violet Kleffman, Benjamin, Emma, Mayank and Manjiri Baker, Addison and Norah Werner, Gabi and Owen Hanson; and three babies to be born this year. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Lake Street United Methodist Church, 337 Lake Street, Eau Claire, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Pastor Graham N. West will be officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.
