Timothy "Timmy D" Dusick, 51, of Eau Claire died Sunday, January 13, 2008, at Sacred Heart Hospital, after living with cancer for an extended period of time. He was born in Eau Claire on August 6, 1956, the son of Clarence Dusick and Deloris (Washburn) Spencer.\r\nHe grew up in Chippewa Falls, graduating from Osseo-Fairchild High School with the class of 1975.\r\nTim married Paula Sikorski at Hope United Methodist Church on July 15, 2006.\r\nTim was a Trustee of the Hope United Methodist church. He was a 25 year member of the Indianhead Track Club serving as president in 2000-02, and a founder of the Water Street Mile, an annual July event.\r\nTim was a renowned competitor and organizer of numerous racing events, including snow shoeing, biking, canoeing, triathlons and stair climbing throughout the world. His most recent accomplishments included competing in the 2005 Snow Shoe Championship in Italy and winning the Minnesota Border to Border Triathlon with his long time friend and racing partner, Jesse Hayes.\r\nTim is survived by his father, Clarence of Altoona; his wife, Paula; two children, Adam Dusick of Mpls, MN, and Amanda (Rob) Richardson of Bloomington, IN and their mother, Jeanne Sternke; two step-children, Heather Sikorski of Spooner and Mitchell Sikorski of Eau Claire; nine brothers and sisters, Judy Lessard of Cape Coral, Fl, Deanna Anderson and Michael (Jody) Dusick both of Chippewa Falls, Peggy Vold of Eau Claire, Cindy (Craig) Rude of Black River Falls, Jan (Todd) Kunkel, David (Wendy) Dusick, Dennis Dusick, and Donald Dusick all of Eau Claire; several nieces and nephews; his very special great niece, and great nephew, Kaylee and Anthony Westenberg; and his little girl "Ariel Jean" his dachshund.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his mother, Deloris Spencer.\r\nHis family extends a special thanks to Dr. Delmastro, Dr. Tana, and the staff at the Cancer Center and 8th Floor at Sacred Heart Hospital.\r\nA Celebration of Tim's life will be held at 7 p.m. on January 19, 2008, at Hope United Methodist Church, 2233 Golf Road, Eau Claire with Pastor Don Gribble officiating.
