VICTOR "Ted" T. WAHL, 75, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, November 30, 2000 at Luther Hospital. He was born on August 26, 1925, to Victor Theodore and Katherine (Bundy) Wahl Law in Eau Claire.\r\nTed served in the U. S. Navy during WWII until his honorable discharge in 1945.\r\nHe did his undergraduate work at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, and graduated from UW Madison, Law School, in 1951. Law Review. Order of the Coif. Ted practiced law in Ashland for a year before returning to Eau Claire, where he began his practice with James Riley. At the time of his retirement in 1997, he was a partner at Wiley, Wahl, Norseng, Cray and Herrell, S.C.\r\nHe had served on the Board of Governors for the Wisconsin State Bar Association, was a Wisconsin Lawyers Assistance Program Committee Member, committee chairman of YMCA Camp Manitou, chairman of Codicil Committee and chairman of the Development Council at Luther Hospital, and county chairman of the Republican Party. \r\nHe was an avid gardener, enjoyed golf, tennis and traveling. He loved time he spent with family.\r\nSurvivors include son, Steven (Cheryl) Wahl of Arvada, CO; daughter, Suzanne (Gene) Corley of Draper, UT; daughter, Cynthia (Jeff Cunningham) Wahl of Fort Worth, TX; son, Victor S. Wahl of Madison; seven grandchildren, Hunter, Griffin and Lauren Wahl; Paul and Erica Corley; and Teddy and Ben Cunningham; a brother, Thomas (Anita) Wahl of North Miami Beach, FL; a cousin, C. T. "Mike" Bundy 2nd of Eau Claire; and beloved friend, Judith Carlson of Eau Claire.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Wahl and Katherine Law; and son, Theodore Wahl in 1989.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2000 at Christ Church Cathedral, with The Very Rev. H. Scott Kirby and The Rev. Schuyler H. Van Gorden Sr. officiating. Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.\r\n
