VIOLA "VI" H. TILLESON, 96, formerly 600 Graham Ave., died Sunday June 27, 1999 at the Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born on October 31, 1902 in Eau Claire to Henry and Millie (Alby) Tilleson. She was a life long resident of Eau Claire. Vi graduated from Eau Claire Normal School with a teaching certificate and taught 42 years at the Seventh Ward School, which later became Randall School, retiring in 1968. She was a member of the Area, State and National Education Associations.\r\nVi was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school for 52 years and was kindergarten superintendent for many of those years. She was also a member of Luther Hospital Auxiliary, and the Good Samaritan Club.\r\nMemorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel with Pastor Rolf A. Nestingen officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.\r\nVi requested memorials be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, American Heart Fund, Arthritic Association or the donor's choice.\r\n
