VIRGINIA E. GOODMAN, 86, formerly of Eau Claire, died Saturday, October 27, 2001 at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation North in the Town of Eagle Point. \r\nShe was born on March 9, 1915 to Christian and Blanche (Riley) Rederer at their home in Chippewa County. Virginia married Walter P. Goodman on February 3, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. \r\nVirginia was an excellent seamstress who made many gifts for her family. They will remember her for her love of cats.\r\nSurvivors include two brothers, Paul Rederer of Chetek and George Rederer of New Auburn; a sister, Cecelia Rederer Buehler of Green Bay; brother-in-law, Robert Goodman of Fox Lake; a sister-in-law, Margaret Goodman (Kiel) of Ft. Atkinson; many nieces and nephews including Brenda Rederer of New Auburn and Paula Rederer of Chetek.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Walter on July 29, 2001; her parents; and a sister, Viola Rederer Francini. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2001 at Tillinghast Cemetery, in the Town of Sampson with Pastor Jon Becker officiating.
