Virginia L. Larson, 94, formerly of Eau Claire, died Sunday, February 9, 2003 at her home in Menomonie. She was born on October 5, 1908 in Elk Mound, the daughter of Francis "Frank" and Elnora (Hanson) Michelbook. She attended grade school in Elk Mound and high school in Menomonie. \r\nVirginia married Robert C. Larson in Menomonie on September 8, 1936.\r\nShe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.\r\nSurvivors include two sons, Robert (Virginia) Larson of Portola, CA and Gary (Joanne) Larson of Joelton, TN; daughter, Jane (Bernard) Mulheron of Menomonie; two grandchildren; Holly Jo (Conor) Green of De Pere, WI, and Andrew Mulheron of Eau Claire; sister, Fransis Hickey and her close friend and cousin, Grace Eick both of Menomonie; sister-in-law, Avis Hilton of Oshkosh; several nieces and a nephew; great nieces and nephews; and a great-great niece and nephew. \r\nVirginia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert in 1994; and a sister, Ethel Galoff.\r\nMemorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2003 at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel, Eau Claire with Pastor Lowell Bolstad officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call an hour prior to services Thursday at the church chapel.\r\nFamily request that memorials be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, 202 West Grand Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54703.
