Obituary

Vivian C. Froseth, 92, of 1011 University Ave., Colfax, Wisconsin, died Monday, January 28, 2002 at Luther Hospital. She was born June 9, 1909 in Elk Mound to Louie and Anna (Miller) Nelson. Vivian married Harold I. Froseth on September 18, 1936 in the Town of Springbrook, Dunn County.\r\nShe was employed at Western Electric and U.S. Rubber Co., after she raised her son, Larry, she worked at Kerm's Laundromat. \r\nVivian was a member of First Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include son, Larry (Catherine) Froseth of Colfax; two granddaughters, Melissa (Craig) Fawcett of Altoona and Jennifer Froseth of Colfax; three great-grandchildren, Cody, Hannah and Conner; two sisters, Betty Tompkins and Alvina Lutzen both of Eau Claire; brother Clyde (Boots) Nelson of Altoona; many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold in 1992; two sisters, Phoebe Woods and Blanche Issakson; one brother, Norman Nelson.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 2 p.m.Thursday, January 31, 2002 at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
